Love how this mismatch is so, matched. Dearest and my sister was giving me really weird looks when I asked about my outfit.  & Im officially 19 today. Despite the crazy work I had to rush out, the day was great. Spend time with people I love and ate my favourite cake.

Another treasure of mine which I got from the thrift store for 4SGD a few weeks ago. Tied up in a bun again and bought a different round shades out today. Basically, I was in all black today, and dearest appeared in front of me  in all light tones.

Dearest was really cute today. He was dressed in light tones, white cotton tee, light denim shorts, canvas bag ( Which was my laptop bag and he was helping me carry it ). He was amazing today and had a long walk with me tonight, when normally his feet can't take long walks. Though hes not here tonight, but Im happy.

Im so in love with the thrift store nowadays. Ive been buying really awesome+cheap things recently and today I got this really cute vest for 6SGD!!! Also, my hair has been up most of the time nowadays, even now, and these are 3 of my favourite shades, that my boyfriend has tighten for me, which you guys have seen it many many times. Hm. Okay, Bye.

DISNEY KID.

Right, how do I start this? I love disney. I've been a disney kid most of my life. Enjoying disney classics, apart from the classic princess ones, also like oliver & co, lady & tramp and other disney movies. As I grew older and more into art, I started loving disney's concept art. The rough sketches, how they develop the characters and so forth. And all my life, I love their music. Until today, I love watching it on youtube all over and all over again. I cant say I know ALL of them, but I love those that has been in my life and Im glad Im a disney kid, and still will be.

The sitting down poses are due to me being uncomfortable due to the time of the month. Nowadays, I've been going crazy about mickey shirts, I actually bought a crop top, which I guess it was originally a XL sweater, from oakham, which I usually think are rip offs cause I usually do my own cutting of my crop top and all. and still living in my beanie, and this topshop vest, which I requested for a size 42, for a few weeks now.

TOPSHOP; 90'S GRUNGE.

Been trying to look for this series of topshop photos, which belongs under the 90s Grunge, when I first saw them at a few topshops in Singapore. I managed to grab hold to the photos which I found here , I decided to pick a few of my fav and did a little editing on my own. It might or might not fit into the theme, but I was just playing around.

Recently, I don't know if I should say it like this, I've been really inspired by the grunge look. While I was experimenting with different kind of... style and what not, I find myself drowning in oversized shirts/overwear, covered in denims and living in boots. And my favourite accessory of the year, my burgundy beanie, almost always seen on me everywhere I go.

I dont like the idea of labeling a style. I cant say my style is grunge, Im definitely not punk, and I've no clue about the music, the 80s or 90s or what so ever. Therefore, Its pretty ironic to say I can define my own style, but at the same time, I've no idea what it is, which Im not going trouble myself over.

And here, is an unusual rant.

AWKWARD SMILEY.

I think Im using the word awkward too much. Im in a reaaally weird mood now. Its not happy, not sad, just weird. awkwardly weird. This is the outfit I live in most of my semester this year, ever since I got this from Forever21. I probably wore this so many times it gets really boring. I've wore it in so many similar ways, and my favourite is with this smiley tee.

and heres another time where I wore it and got spotted by myfatpocket, for their nafa campus fashion spotting. I didnt actually know about this until the voting was over. I dont see how you can judge by 3 different styles and way of dressing.
Anyways, one of the comments that got me there was:

"As much as the 3rd girl looks pretty cool... it doesnt hurt to smile, does it? So my vote goes to Gorgeous 1 who looks really simple yet chic and just so pretty with her confident smile."


Im sorry, I dont smile. I dont feel comfortable smiling while taking a front portrait look. And if I have to be fashionable with a confident smile, I rather be not. I know she didnt meant anything bad, but just saaaaying.

Anyway, Congrats to the first girl, which most of the voting went to, who was wearing a black dress, with ankled litas, or litas look alike. and of course, thank you myfatpocket, for spotting me and taking such a wonderful photo of me. and of course to the 8 people who voted for me ( totally of 22votes ) and all the nice comments which I never except to receive.

ECHOES IN THE HALLWAY.

Its not a pretty sight walking around with pants that look like leggings, and wearing a top like a bra. Took a trip down to oakham market and reminder to self to bring a bigger bag and not a clutch for shopping, wear boots for walking and wearing shorts to prevent dying in the heat.

Love how Cheryl put together this simple yet gorgeous outfit effortlessly, just with a floral bralet and a skirt. Those necklaces are so EYE-catching and an extra pop colour from that beanie.

HEARTS A MESS.

looking like a little clown today, with the poofy pants which is way too big for me. However, one of my friends was saying she feel like if she wear my clothes, they would probably burst in it. Not my ordinary way of dressing, but hey, worth the shot.

Recently being really amazed by Gotye, by his music and after watching his short documentary, I was pretty inspired though Im not a music person.




It feels pretty rare for me to be inspired something different from my usual inspirations from bloggers/tumblr. It amazes me how he created his music album. From how he made his music, by being inspired by old records, mixing his own music instruments physically to looking through his own artworks.
